Verizon Wireless has very reliable service. In this article I compare two of the most popular wireless cell phones.
The Motorola Rapture VU30 is a flip phone with a 12-key numeric keyboard. It has a vanishing external display. This phone is a speaker phone and has voice-activated dialing feature. It is also Bluetooth enabled allowing hands free operation. It is of course text messaging capable and has an MP3 player. The VU30 comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera with enhanced imaging capabilities. This phone has a video recorder. You can upload pictured and video to online Social Networking Sites (Facebook, Myspace, etc.). This is a multi-media cell phone. This cell phone also has GPS capability.The VU30 weighs only 3.4 oz. It has a 4.5 hrs talk time and 470 hrs stand by time.
The Verizon Wireless Blitz is a slider phone. It weighs 5.1 oz. This wireless phone has a QWERTY keyboard making it is to send text messages and e-mails. You can use the Blitz as a speakerphone. The sound quality is crystal clear. The Blitz is Bluetooth enabled and it lets you listen to music via a Bluetooth stereo headset. The Blitz has GPS capability. This phone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, it doesn’t have a flash and it doesn’t have a video recorder. The Blitz will play back Window Media Audio and MP3 files only. You can get music onto the cell phone from you computer via a USB synching cable. This cell phone has about 4.5 hours talk time and 280 hrs stand by time.
These too phones satisfy different needs. The VU30 is smaller and it comes with a video recorder. The Blitz with the QWERTY keyboard could be better for someone who sends a lot of text messages.
